When did Dan even start liking Blair? It was totally out of the blue and with no build up! I’m sorry but watching old movies together and an internship at W does NOT equal being in love with somebody! A crush maybe, at most but Blair being “the one” or his “soulmate” PUH LEASE! What happened to the old Dan Humphrey?! The one that was so in love and infacuated with Serena Van Der Woodsen? The one that always thought Serena was his “dream girl” and thought Blair Waldorf was “evil”? I miss that Dan!
And further to that, when did Dan stop loving Serena?! He spent ALLof season one, two, three and the beginning of four madly in love with her! And one day the writers decide to make him suddenly love Blair ?
Last time I checked Dan wanted Serena over Vanessa in the beginning of season four; but Serena being the derp that she is couldn’t decide between Nate and him- so the writers just scrapped that storyline ?? Did they really think we wouldn’t notice?
Where was Dan fighting for Serena? Or at least telling her, telling us that he had moved on from her?? You think he would have said some kind of epic speech.. just like Chair’s 4x22 ( I will always love you… but I need to let you go…) before he fell “in love” with Blair?!
Derena fans are entitled to that at least! Its sad that they don’t get anything special or killer speech to remember their couple. OR what about how hard it was for him move on/ let Serena go? I’m NOT a Derena shipper; I have always been TEAM SERENATE <3 But I don’t feel like Derena got the proper closure/ farewell that they needed. I have no idea what the writers are playing at; but their stroylines make me go…
Okay, we haven’t seen past 5x14… but we all have seen the fugly photos floating around about BAN’s kiss- so we know it’s happening/ coming (have your vomit bags ready!!) I, like every other loyal Chairleader am NOT looking forward to any BAN interaction. I used to love Dan and Blair’s friendship in season three and four but now,every scene that they are in together turns my stomach upside down and makes me literally vomit. in. my. mouth. So I have a message for the GG writers…
You should all be fired! You have ruined Gossip Girl.
I read somewhere that Chuck is meant to fight for Blair all of Season five. If this is true, I feel very sorry for my baby and very proud of him at the same time. Honestly, what guy would do that? Maybe if Dan fought for Serena like that…they would still be together!
I really hope the Ban storyline is quickly done and shortlived! In a way, maybe this will be a good thing for Blair; so when her relationship with LOSERBOY fails she can realise that CHUCK is the ONLY man she wants.
The other thing that makes me really happy is Safran saying that Chuck and Blair are NEVER over. Well all know that CHAIR IS ENDGAME but now the Dair fans know it too (though they will never admit it)
OUR SHIP IS CANNON. And as much as it will be hard/ kill me to watch Blair try something with Dan; I will continue watching so when they crash and burn- we can all be ready to laugh at everyone who thought Dair is better than Chair.
